AUTO MIX & DISPENSER

Refill. Mix. Dispense.
Make the routine easier.

Reusable bottles and mixing hardware help turn a concentrate refill into an everyday liquid product. Explore a system that moves from manual preparation to automatic mixing and integrated dosing.

Revopods connects the refill, formula, bottle and hardware around one user routine: add the concentrate, restore the liquid and deliver the amount needed.

WHY HARDWARE MATTERS

The refill delivers ingredients.
The hardware completes the routine.

A concentrate refill changes how cleaning ingredients are supplied. Hardware addresses the user steps that follow: measuring water, dissolving the film, mixing the concentrate and dispensing the finished liquid.

A reusable bottle supports a simple manual routine. A mixing base can assist preparation. A mixing bottle integrates that function into the container. A combined mixing and dosing device brings preparation and dispensing into one system.

Design the hardware around the formula. Water volume, mixing conditions, viscosity, material compatibility and dispensing behavior should be evaluated together for the intended product.

FROM MANUAL REFILL TO INTEGRATED HARDWARE

01 · Reuse Bottle

A durable container for a clear manual refill routine.

02 · Auto Mix Pad

A separate base that assists mixing in a compatible bottle.

03 · Auto Mix Bottle

A bottle with an integrated mixing function.

04 · Mix & Dose

A hardware direction combining preparation and metered dispensing.

Automate the steps
that improve the user routine.

These are development directions. Final mechanisms and operating specifications are defined through the project.

DESIGN FOR EVERYDAY USE

Simpler preparation.
More consistent use.

The goal is to make concentrate refills easier to prepare and use. Hardware adds value when it reduces effort and improves repeatability without complicating the cleaning routine.

01 · REUSEKeep the container in use.

Design a bottle or dispenser that remains part of the household or workplace routine. Refill access, readable water marks and convenient cleaning support repeated use.

02 · PREPAREAssist the mixing step.

Develop mixing around the film and concentrate, with a defined preparation method. A base or integrated mixer can reduce the need for repeated manual shaking or stirring.

03 · DISPENSEMatch dispensing to the product.

A suitable pump, outlet or dosing mechanism delivers the prepared liquid for its intended application. In integrated hardware, metered dispensing can be developed alongside automatic mixing.

Mixing and dosing behavior depend on the formula, dilution, mechanism and user conditions. Hardware performance and product compatibility are evaluated together during development.

THE HARDWARE PLATFORM

Four hardware directions.
One concentrate refill ecosystem.

Four ways to support refill use, from a reusable container to an integrated preparation and dispensing system. Select the level of automation around the task, user and target cost.

01 · REUSE BOTTLEReuse Bottle

A simple foundation for refilling.

A bottle designed to be filled and used repeatedly. Develop the opening, water-volume markings, cap or pump and cleaning access around the intended refill and finished liquid.

02 · MIXING BASEAuto Mix Pad

A mixing base for a compatible bottle.

A separate powered base can provide the mixing function while the bottle remains removable. Base coupling, bottle fit, mixing action and operating sequence are defined as one system.

THE REVOPODS FOUNDATION

Build the whole system.
From concentrate to delivery.

The bottle or device is one part of the refill system. Our development approach connects the formula, water-soluble film, refill design, manufacturing process and user-facing hardware.

01 · EXPERIENCEPod expertise since 2012.

Our team’s manufacturing and product-development experience in water-soluble pods dates back to 2012. This foundation informs refill dose, film compatibility and reconstitution requirements.

02 · COLLABORATIONA global partner ecosystem.

We work with leading global partners across the refill ecosystem, connecting material and formulation expertise with manufacturing and product development.

03 · INTEGRATIONFormula, refill & hardware.

Our independently developed production equipment, formulations and product designs provide a foundation for aligning concentrate delivery with the bottle, mixer and dispensing routine.

SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT

Design the device around
the formula and the user.

Start with the product and user routine. Define the simplest useful hardware, then align the bottle, mixing mechanism, formula and dispensing function through prototyping and evaluation.

Bottle & refill interface

Define finished volume, refill opening, water marks, closure and the intended container.

Mixing mechanism

Match mixing action and operating conditions to dissolution and the prepared-liquid properties.

Dispensing & dose

Select a suitable pump or outlet and evaluate metering requirements for the application.

Materials & cleaning

Develop wetted-material compatibility, access for cleaning and maintainability.

Power & controls

Define the power arrangement, user controls and operating sequence for the device.

Product & user testing

Evaluate preparation, leakage, mixing, dispensing and the complete refill routine.

FROM BRIEF TO PRODUCTION

Develop the device
and refill as one system.

01Define the routine.

Confirm the product, user, container size, preparation steps, dispensing task and target cost.

02Design the interface.

Align the refill, bottle, mixing concept and prepared-liquid characteristics.

03Prototype & evaluate.

Test preparation, dissolution, liquid behavior, leakage, cleaning access and dispensing repeatability.

04Prepare the product system.

Align device specifications, refill instructions, manufacturing requirements and support for repeated use.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Understanding refill mixing hardware.

What does a Reuse Bottle add to the refill system?

It provides a container intended for repeated filling and use. A defined volume, convenient refill access and a compatible cap or pump help make the preparation routine clear.

How is an Auto Mix Pad different from an Auto Mix Bottle?

The pad is a separate mixing base used with a compatible bottle. A mixing bottle integrates the mixing function into the container. The best direction depends on bottle design, handling and user preferences.

What is an Auto Mix & Dosing Bottle?

It is a hardware direction that combines preparation and dispensing. The device can be developed to mix the refill and then deliver a defined amount of prepared liquid through a suitable dosing mechanism.

Can the same device work with every refill formula?

Compatibility is project-specific. Film dissolution, liquid viscosity, materials, mixing action and dispensing behavior should be evaluated for the intended formula and dilution.

Will automatic mixing determine the correct water volume?

Automatic mixing does not by itself measure or control the water volume. The bottle markings and preparation instructions define it, unless water measurement or delivery is explicitly included in the device design.

Are heating, sensing or connected controls included?

Such features can be considered in a project brief where they add useful value. Their inclusion and specifications depend on the selected design; they are not assumed for every hardware direction.

How is dosing performance established?

Define the target liquid, dose and operating conditions, then evaluate dispensing repeatability in the prototype. The mechanism and controls are developed around those requirements.

Can Revopods help develop a branded refill-and-device system?
