LAUNDRY DETERGENT REFILLS
Same liquid detergent performance.
A smarter way to refill.
The cleaning ingredients of liquid laundry detergent, concentrated and sealed in water-soluble film. Add water in a reusable bottle to restore the liquid detergent—then measure and use it through your usual laundry routine.
Revopods develops laundry liquid refills that preserve the performance of the reconstituted detergent while reducing the packaging and transport costs of repeatedly supplying water-filled bottles.

THE LAUNDRY REFILL PRINCIPLE
Encapsulate the ingredients.
Restore the liquid with water.
Traditional bottled laundry liquid delivers the cleaning ingredients together with its dilution water. Our refill approach concentrates those ingredients and encloses them in water-soluble film, with the final dilution taking place where the product is used.
Add the specified amount of water to reconstitute the detergent. The film dissolves and the concentrate becomes a laundry liquid with the intended cleaning performance, consistency and dosing instructions.
Refill the bottle, then dose the liquid. These refills are designed to be dissolved in water before use. After reconstitution, the detergent is measured and used like a conventional bottled laundry liquid.
CONCENTRATE · RECONSTITUTE · REUSE
Use the specified number of pods in a suitable reusable bottle.
Follow the defined water volume and mixing instructions. Allow full dissolution.
Measure the restored liquid detergent according to the laundry dosing instructions.
Restore the detergent.
Keep your laundry routine.
Pod quantity, mixing order, water volume and dissolution time are defined for the final formula.
WHERE THE SAVINGS COME FROM
Pay for cleaning ingredients.
Reduce repeated delivery costs.
The refill changes what travels through the supply chain. Instead of repeatedly buying a new rigid bottle filled with diluted detergent, customers buy the cleaning concentrate and reuse their bottle.
01 · PACKAGINGReuse the detergent bottle.
A suitable bottle stays in service across multiple refills. Replenishment supplies the concentrate in protective refill packaging, reducing the need for a new rigid bottle with every purchase.
02 · TRANSPORTTransport less dilution water.
The water for the finished laundry liquid is added at the point of use. A compact concentrate reduces the weight and volume associated with transporting the diluted detergent.
03 · PERFORMANCEKeep the detergent performance.
The formula is developed around its performance after reconstitution. Savings come from the packaging and delivery format, while the restored liquid supplies the intended cleaning ingredients at the defined concentration.
Final cost savings depend on the formulation, refill packaging, bottle reuse, shipping route and production scale. Refill packaging remains necessary to protect the concentrate during storage and distribution.
SAME FUNCTION · DIFFERENT DELIVERY
The laundry experience stays.
The supply format changes.
The refill is a delivery format for the detergent ingredients. Performance is determined by the reconstituted formula and dose, while the concentrate changes how the product is packaged and shipped.
01 · WHAT STAYSFamiliar liquid detergent performance
Develop the restored liquid around the cleaning performance and user experience of the intended bottled product: soil removal, fabric suitability, fragrance and the expected liquid consistency.
Once reconstituted, users measure the detergent for their load and wash conditions through a familiar laundry routine.
02 · WHAT CHANGESA more compact refill format
Supply the concentrate instead of the full diluted liquid. Water-soluble film contains the formula, and moisture-protective packaging supports storage and distribution.
Users provide the dilution water and retain the bottle, creating opportunities to reduce packaging material and transport cost.
Performance equivalence is evaluated in the restored liquid at the specified dilution and laundry dose, against the chosen bottled-detergent reference.
THE REVOPODS FOUNDATION
A complete product ecosystem.
Built around making refills work.
A successful laundry refill needs formulation, film compatibility, product design and production to work together. Our capabilities connect these requirements in one development system.
01 · EXPERIENCEPod expertise since 2012.
Our team's manufacturing and product development experience in water-soluble pods dates back to 2012. That practical knowledge informs formula compatibility, encapsulation, mold design and production processes.
02 · COLLABORATIONA global partner ecosystem.
We work with leading global partners to build a new manufacturing ecosystem for refill products, connecting materials expertise with formulation, equipment and product development.
03 · IN-HOUSE DEVELOPMENTEquipment, formulas & design.
Our independently developed production equipment, proprietary formulations and in-house product designs form an integrated foundation—from the refill concept to its manufacturing process.
CUSTOM LAUNDRY REFILL DEVELOPMENT
Design the refill around
the finished laundry liquid.
Start with the laundry liquid your customers expect. We work backwards from the restored product to develop the concentrate, dose, film compatibility, bottle instructions and manufacturing process.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Understanding laundry detergent refills.
How do laundry detergent refills work?
They contain a concentrated detergent formula sealed in water-soluble film. Add the specified amount of water in a suitable bottle and follow the mixing instructions. After full dissolution, use the restored liquid according to its laundry dosing directions.
Will the restored detergent perform like bottled laundry liquid?
That is the development target: the restored liquid supplies the intended cleaning ingredients at the specified concentration and dose. Equivalence is assessed against the chosen bottled-detergent reference under the intended wash conditions.
Where do the savings come from?
Primarily from reducing repeated rigid-bottle purchases and the cost of transporting diluted liquid. The cleaning ingredients remain part of the formula; the refill changes their packaging and delivery.
Can I put the refill directly into the washing machine?
These products are bottle refills, intended to be dissolved in the specified volume of water before use. Do not treat them as direct-to-drum laundry pods unless a separate product has been specifically developed and labeled for that use.
How much water should I add?
Follow the instructions for the final product. The number of refills, water volume, mixing method and dissolution time are defined for the formula and target bottle size.
Does the refill remove the need for packaging?
Protective packaging is still needed to prevent moisture exposure and support storage. The opportunity is to reuse the main detergent bottle and use compact refill packaging for replenishment.
Can Revopods develop a laundry refill for our brand?
We can develop the concentrate, refill dose, film compatibility, product structure, packaging direction and manufacturing route around your market, target liquid detergent and cost goals.
