HYGIENE & DISINFECTION REFILLS
A compact refill.
A defined hygiene solution.
Concentrated ingredients in water-soluble film, developed for clearly defined cleaning and hygiene applications. Add the specified amount of water to prepare the working solution.
Revopods connects formulation, refill design and manufacturing across surface hygiene, disinfecting cleaners, commercial products, pet environments and institutional cleaning routines.

THE REFILL PRINCIPLE
Deliver the concentrate.
Define the solution in use.
A water-soluble refill delivers a concentrated ingredient system rather than the full volume of diluted cleaning liquid. The dilution water is added at the point of use, following the defined preparation instructions.
The formula, film, dose and water volume are developed together around the intended working solution. For disinfection applications, the required performance is evaluated in that prepared solution under the defined use conditions.
Cleaning and disinfection have different performance targets. A surface-cleaning formula is developed to remove soils. A disinfecting formula requires its own defined efficacy targets and supporting validation.
PREPARE · DILUTE · APPLY AS DIRECTED
Choose the product specified for the cleaning task and surface.
Follow the defined dose, water volume and mixing directions.
Use the prepared product according to its surface and application instructions.
Define the task.
Develop the working solution.
Product-specific directions define application, contact time where relevant, rinsing and prepared-solution storage.
A SMARTER REFILL SYSTEM
Less to transport.
A clearer replenishment routine.
Refills can reduce the repeated supply of dilution water and rigid bottles, while the prepared product is developed around the performance and operating routine the application requires.
01 · DELIVERYTransport less dilution water.
Supply compact concentrate refills and add the working-solution water at the point of use. This can reduce freight weight and storage volume compared with supplying the full diluted liquid.
02 · PACKAGINGReuse compatible containers.
Retain suitable bottles, sprayers or other defined refill containers. Protective concentrate packaging remains part of the supply system, while the main container can remain in service.
03 · IN USEDefine the preparation.
A premeasured refill provides a defined concentrate dose. Pair it with clear water-volume, mixing and application instructions to build a consistent replenishment routine.
Cost and material savings depend on the formula, protective packaging, transport and container reuse. Prepared-solution performance is evaluated separately for the intended application.
HYGIENE & DISINFECTION PRODUCT DIRECTIONS
One refill platform.
Five hygiene applications.
Five development directions, defined by the task, surfaces and operating environment. Each needs its own formula brief and use instructions.
01 · SURFACE HYGIENESurface Hygiene Cleaner
Everyday cleaning of frequently used surfaces.
Develop around soil removal, wipe finish and material compatibility for the selected hard surfaces. This category focuses on routine cleaning; any additional antimicrobial performance is a separate development target.
02 · DISINFECTING CLEANERDisinfecting Cleaner
Develop around a defined disinfection target.
Specify the intended surfaces, target efficacy, working concentration and contact time. Formula stability, cleaning compatibility and disinfection performance are evaluated in the prepared product.
03 · COMMERCIAL HYGIENECommercial Hygiene Products
Refills for workplace cleaning routines.
Develop around commercial cleaning tasks, refill containers, staff preparation and replenishment workflows in hospitality, offices and other shared facilities.
04 · PET ENVIRONMENTPet Environment Cleaning
Cleaning designed around the pet environment.
Explore soil and odor-removal directions for pet-area floors and suitable washable surfaces. Material compatibility, residues, fragrance and the use conditions around animals are assessed for the final formula.
05 · INSTITUTIONAL CLEANINGInstitutional Cleaning Solutions
An application-led system for facility teams.
Define the rooms, surfaces, soils and preparation routines of the institution. Align formula, refill dose, storage, application and cleaning-equipment compatibility with the facility brief.
These are product-development directions. Disinfection claims, application suitability and prepared-product performance are established for each final formulation and target market.
THE REVOPODS FOUNDATION
A complete product ecosystem.
Built around the working formula.
Formulation, film compatibility, product structure and production are developed as one system, with application-specific evaluation guiding the final refill product.
01 · EXPERIENCEPod expertise since 2012.
Our team's manufacturing and product development experience in water-soluble pods dates back to 2012. That practical knowledge informs formula compatibility, encapsulation, mold design and production processes.
02 · COLLABORATIONA global partner ecosystem.
We work with leading global partners to build a new manufacturing ecosystem for refill products, connecting materials expertise with formulation, equipment and product development.
03 · IN-HOUSE DEVELOPMENTEquipment, formulas & design.
Our independently developed production equipment, proprietary formulations and in-house product designs form an integrated foundation—from the refill concept to its manufacturing process.
CUSTOM HYGIENE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Build the refill around
the cleaning and hygiene task.
Start with the application brief. We develop the ingredient system, refill dose, working concentration, preparation directions and manufacturing route around the intended surfaces and operating routine.
Application & surface
Define the environment, target soils, materials and intended cleaning task.
Working concentration
Match the refill dose and water volume to the prepared-solution specification.
Performance targets
Define cleaning outcomes and, where relevant, disinfection efficacy targets for evaluation.
Formula & film compatibility
Align ingredient stability, film compatibility and reliable reconstitution.
Application instructions
Specify preparation, use method, contact time where relevant, rinsing and equipment fit.
Packaging & storage
Develop moisture protection and define concentrate and prepared-solution storage conditions.
FROM BRIEF TO PRODUCTION
Develop the refill
and its application together.
01Define the application.
Confirm surfaces, tasks, target performance, use environment, market and cost goals.
02Develop the concentrate.
Align ingredients, film, refill dose and preparation requirements for the working solution.
03Evaluate the prepared product.
Assess cleaning, stability, material compatibility and any defined disinfection targets under the intended conditions.
04Prepare the refill system.
Align production, quality checks, protective packaging and clear preparation and use instructions.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Understanding hygiene and disinfection refills.
How do these refill products work?
A water-soluble film encloses a concentrated ingredient system. Prepare it with the specified water volume and mixing method, then follow the final product instructions for the application.
Is a surface hygiene cleaner the same as a disinfecting cleaner?
Routine surface cleaning and disinfection have different performance targets. A disinfecting product is developed and evaluated for defined efficacy under specified conditions; the refill format itself does not establish that efficacy.
What is important when developing a disinfecting refill?
Define the intended application, target efficacy, working concentration, contact time, stability and surface compatibility. These requirements guide the formula, validation and final use directions.
Can one formula cover all five product directions?
The concentrate delivery platform can be shared, but the formulation should follow the application. Pet-area cleaning, commercial workflows and institutional surfaces may have different requirements.
How much water should users add?
Use the volume specified for the final product. Refill quantity, working concentration, mixing method and prepared-solution storage instructions are defined for the formula.
Can these products be used around pets?
Suitability depends on the final formula and application. Pet-environment products are developed with surface compatibility, residues and the conditions of animal exposure in mind. Follow the final use, rinsing and re-entry instructions.
Can Revopods develop a product for our brand or facility?
